Christian,
probably found the problem ...
The /examples/rss works for me know (at least to the point it works from
your website as well). The problem was that it is not linked from the top
index.html, so I did not see it and did not try it.
Ah ok. Good to hear, that it at least works, where it should ;)probably found the problem ...

* Bitflux Editor Website with inline loading and XHTML Elements (with
image insert support)
* Bitflux Editor Website with inline loading
* University of Zurich (has XHTML Schema support, quite complex)
* Echo/Atom (needs a nicer CSS and a fixed RelaxNG)
and none of them seems to work.
Maybe it makes sense to mark these examples as "broken". Others might be
confused as well.
Yeah, I removed them. They're not supposed to work ;)image insert support)

Are you planing integrating BXE 2.0 into lenya?
And BTW, You have to hit "Reply-To-All" on our mailinglists, otherwise
your answers don't go on the mailinglist.

Thanks for your help!

When this did not work, I copied the whole directory tree into the
document root of my webserver and tried to load it via http. Same
result.
And I have checked the JavaScript console. No errors
Which example are you trying? examples/rss/ ? The others (except xslt2)
don't work and consequently I deleted them now from the bxe_2_0 branch.
I just checked out the whole branch again in a new directory, and it
works for me (accessed via file://).
Did you download it with subversion? Which revision do you have? (Is now
at r1194)
The demo at http://trash.chregu.tv/bxe_2_0/examples/rss/ was not up to
date. I did an "svn up" there now, can you check, if it still works for
you?
Furthermore, which OS and which browser are you using?
very same revision does not work on mine? Is there anything hard-coded?
I
know to little about it to start debugging this myself.
Regards,
Torsten

You downloaded the demo and tried to load it via file:// in the browser,
or what exactly did you do?
That was one attempt I made.or what exactly did you do?

And be aware that BXE 2.0 is very alpha.
I know. But why does the demo work when I call it on your server but thevery same revision does not work on mine? Is there anything hard-coded?

Did you check the JS console, resp. error-screen, if there are any
errors there?

And be aware that BXE 2.0 is very alpha. It basically works and the API
(whatever that is in BXE ;) ) shouldn't change anymore, but there are
still a lot of bugs. But startiing with trying to implement it, is
certainly not the badest idea ;) BXE 2.0 is hopefully going to be a
major step in our developement.

errors there?
Dear all,
I recently checked out the BXE 2.0 trunk from SVN, put it into my
webserver and tried to run the demo. But when I hit "Edit article" the
BXE
splash screen stays forever. When I click on it, it goes away but I
cannot
edit. I see the boxes around the individual items, but I cannot change
anything.
Calling up the demo from your website with the very same browser works
fine.
I even tried checking out the exact same revision as the online demo on
your website runs on, but had the same problem. So I am convinved this
needs to be something local, but I have no idea where to start
searching.
Any hints from the experienced?
